Service Through Empowerment Programmes (STEP)

When we manage people, lead teams or as we progress upwards in our organisations, we believe that a focus on service is the key to success – whether this is supporting our external customers, supporting our internal customers, supporting our team members or supporting our boss! Equipped with the skills and knowledge acquired in our leadership and management development course, participants are empowered and prepared to deliver extraordinary service.

With Programmes ranging from 6 to 15 days training, scheduled over periods of 6 – 18 months, we aim to develop participants’ management and leadership skills, by challenging them to think differently, embrace opportunity and apply learning. Each Programme is designed to address a client’s specific business requirements and covers a range of  Management and Leadership skills subjects including:

Programme content and delivery is adapted to the seniority and experience of participants. This is discussed and agreed with the client, when we tailoring the programme to their needs.

Every Programme contains a mix of traditional classroom training, assignments and additional work that is undertaken in small groups away from the training room in between training days. Participants are supported by the facilitator in coaching calls between all training days, ensuring that learning is being effectively applied back in the workplace.

The facilitator also leads executive reviews of the Programme with clients to ensure that each organisation is in a position to enable participants to employ new ways of working as a result of their learning.

The Programme also includes communications support with detailed, bespoke Joining Instructions provided to each participant for each training day, and information is also provided to participants’ managers to help them further support the development of their people.

Workbooks and supporting material are tailored to the specific needs of each client, to ensure that the needs of the participants are balanced with the needs of the business.

These Leadership and Management Development Programmes  are designed for clients looking to develop new leadership skills, enhance existing leadership skills, and for ongoing leadership training and development.
